Style...Since an early age, and being heavily influenced by my parents, I began my journey into personal style by trying to copy Michael Jackson mixed with Elton John glasses at age of 10!

With the multitude of fashion magazines, style TV shows, and everyone trying to make over everybody, I have always felt that personal style is something that comes from within yourself, and not something you can be taught.  The only thing you can be taught is how to coordinate colors and patterns by following historically documented styles of different periods in history, but true personal style cannot be taught at all.  My own personal style is a voice of who I am and reflects my journey in life, and what cultural influences I have drawn from.  At times magazines can be inspiring, but their main purpose is pure business driven, which is why I stopped buying magazines over 15 years ago....  My energy is based on the individualistic concept, I'm not too keen on visual cloning.  My style inspirations have always come from the cultural styles of different communities I have visited....it just feels more personal that way.....

There is a huge difference between "Personal Style" and "Trendy".
